TREK 3
4 days: A trek through a remote region of jungle and hill tribes with a diverse landscape and opportunity to spot wildlife and view tribal hunting and fishing practices. This trek passes through a rarely visited and remote region bordering on Virachey National Park and involves one night stay with a tribal family and two nights at jungle camps.

Trek Itinerary
Day 1 Leave Banlung for Ta Veng, located 90 minutes away by car on the banks of the Tonle San River. After crossing the river by boat, trek through the tribal regions and pass over some small streams, reaching a village homestay in the late afternoon.
Day 2 Continue trekking North across a savanna to the stone temple formations, a sacred tribal site. From there, continue further north through the hills and a rocky gorge to a jungle creek lagoon ideal for swimming.
Day 3 Return South through diverse landscapes, passing part way along the same trails before looping around to a different path to a jungle camp.
Day 4 Cut through dense jungle back to the Tonle San River, then cross by boat and have lunch in Ta Veng before heading back to Banlung.
