Day 2 Transfer by car to a small village on the Mekong River near the Laos border. From there we will begin a kayaking trip down river through remote flooded forests of Cambodia's amazing and unique Ramsar Wetlands. A boat will provide backup. We will see an abundance of birdlife as we kayak. We will return to our Stung Treng accommodations in the late afternoon. Day 3 Leave Stung Treng by bicycle along a scenic river route, passing through villages and having opportunities to visit a temple, a school and scenic river views. After 25 km of cycling, we will board kayaks and begin kayaking down river, stopping at sandy islands and watching for rare Mekong River Dolphins. After lunch at a deep dolphin pool, transfer by car to Kratie, arriving in time for sunset over the Mekong. Overnight at a riverside hotel.
