Cross-Country Dirtbike Tour

10 days - 9 nights Siem Reap - Angkor - Beng Mealea - Sambor Prei Kuk - Kompong Cham - Silk Islands - Phnom Penh - Phnom Chisor Mountain - Kompong Trach - Kep - Kampot - Sihanoukville

A cross country dirt bike tour departing from Siem Reap and ending in Sihanoukville. Cross through Cambodia's remote North and see some of the country's most amazing lost cities and jungle temples. Then follow the Mekong South to Phnom Penh, crossing rural islands, before continuing to the coast via Phnom Chisor Mountain, the caves and limestone formations of Kompong Trach and Kep. Follow the coastal highway and end your trip at the beaches of Sihanoukville.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Siem Reap. Transfer from the airport to your hotel. Overnight at a centrally located hotel (a/c, swimming pool).

Day 2 Visit the highlights of Angkor by tuk-tuk with a specialist guide, including Angkor Wat, Bayon, overgrown Ta Prohm and the terraces of elephants and the Leper King.

Day 3 Depart Siem Reap by dirt bike to the jungle temple of Beng Mealea. After exploring, continue on to the remote pyramid temple of Koh Ker and then onto Tbeng Meanchey town. Overnight at a comfortable hotel.

Day 4 Depart Tbeng Meachey south to the lost city of Sambor Prei Kuk. After exploring the ruins, continue to Kompong Cham town on the banks of the Mekong. Overnight at a riverside hotel.

Day 5 Follow the Mekong River south through riverside villages and farms, then cross by ferry to the Silk Islands for swimming and visiting the silk villages. Arrive in Phnom Penh in the late afternoon by ferry boat. Overnight at a 4-star hotel on the riverside.

Day 6 Enjoy a day off the bikes, and see Phnom Penh in a day tour by tuk-tuk, including the Killing Fields Memorial, Toul Sleng Genocide Museum, Russian Market and Wat Phnom Temple.

Day 7 Depart in the morning by dirt bike to the ancient mountain temple of Phnom Chisor and continue via a scenic route to the caves and limestone formations at Kompong Trach before arriving in the colonial seaside town of Kep. Enjoy a seafood dinner and sleep overnight in a comfortable hotel at the beach.

Day 8 Continue along the coast by dirtbike, passing through Kampot town and then onto the scenic Kbal Chhay waterfalls in the hills above Sihanoukville for lunch and swimming. Afterwards continue to Sihanoukville town. Overnight at a comfortable hotel with swimming pool at the beach.

Day 9 Free day to enjoy the beach or simply relax at Sihanoukville. Kayak rentals provided if requested.

Day 10 Depart Sihanoukville directly to Phnom Penh or Phnom Penh International Airport by private car.
