Day 1 Arrive in Phnom Penh. Transfer from the airport to your hotel. Overnight in Phnom Penh at a comfortable riverside hotel.
Day 2 Depart Phnom Penh by dirtbike on the ferry boat across the Mekong River, then travel north along a quiet dirt road following the river to Kompong Cham, stopping for lunch before continuing along the river route to Kratie. Overnight at a riverside hotel in Kratie town.
Day 3 In the morning, travel along the Mekong to discover the home of the Mekong River Dolphins at Kampi. Go on a boat trip through the dolphin pools and see the rare dolphins up close. After the boat trip, continue by dirtbike to Stung Treng at the confluence of the Mekong and Sekong Rivers. Overnight at a comfortable riverside hotel.
Day 4 Leave the dirtbikes in town and travel north along the Mekong to the village of O Sway near the Lao border and begin a full-day kayaking trip down river through remote flooded forests of Cambodia's amazing Ramsar Wetlands. Many varieties of birds live in these forests. Picnic lunch en route provided. Return to Stung Treng accommodations in the evening.
Day 5 Get back on the dirtbikes and cross the Mekong by ferry to Thala Boravit, an ancient trading city on the river. From there, continue along difficult jungle trails through a remote forested region to Tbeng Meanchey in Preah Vihear province. Overnight at a comfortable hotel.
Day 6 Depart Tbeng Meachey along dirt roads to the remote pyramid temple of Koh Ker. After exploring, continue on to Preah Vihear, one of Cambodia's most impressive temples located on the edge of a cliff face. Overnight at a simple guesthouse at the base of the mountain.
Day 7 Continue along the southern base of the Dangrek Escarpment to Anlong Veng town, the former Khmer Rouge stronghold. Enjoy lunch in town and visit the Ta Mok villa before continuing south to Siem Reap. Overnight at a comfortable hotel with swimming pool.
Day 8 Depart early on bike to the pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei, then hike 45 minutes along a jungle-clad mountain path to the River of a Thousand Lingas, Kbal Spean, where a clear stream ripples through ancient carvings before dropping in a pretty waterfall. Return to Siem Reap for a late lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing or exploring the town. Overnight at a comfortable hotel with swimming pool.
Day 9 Explore the main temples of Angkor Archeological Park by tuk-tuk with a specialist guide, including Angkor Wat, Bayon, the Terraces of Elephants and the Leper King and Ta Prohm. Overnight at a comfortable hotel with swimming pool.
Day 10 Return to Phnom Penh by Boat via the Tonle Sap Lake (the bikes will be shipped). Overnight in Phnom Penh at a comfortable riverside hotel.
Day 11 Enjoy a city tour by tuk-tuk. Visit sites in and around Phnom Penh including the Choeng Ek Killing Fields Memorial, the Russian Market, Wat Phnom and the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum. End the day with a sunset dinner cruise through the four rivers region. Overnight at a comfortable riverside hotel.
Day 12 Transfer by car to the airport, your onward location or continue your trip in Cambodia.
